Hotel Casa Merced - Cuenca

So I was expecting a stellar experience, but alas, I barely survived the noise looming like a nightclub and the Wi-Fi was basically a myth. Plus, at the very least, I thought I'd woudl ve been given a complimentary upgrade for all my troubles-no such luck! I just couldn't leave a glowing review after that.

The venue was impeccably clean and the staff were very friendly and amicable. The bathroom in my double room was fairly clean. The location was perfect in the center of the city. Fast food restaurant Wendy's was located 10 minutes walk away...

Plenty of goodies for breakfast.

I was welcomed by Señora da Costa's radiant smile and delicious vegan breakfasts, accompanied by the soothing sounds of nature in the beautiful garden courtyard.

The lack of a television in my room felt unusual at first, but it quickly became a minor detail in the grand scheme of a nice stay.

It's exceptionally comfortable place to stay 1 mile away from a culture museum. The staff are very very helpful and excellent, managed the parking nearby. The room is stylish and big with a good bed and pillows. The hotel has a very central location super close to everything you want. As for me the food is good, and they have variety of meals. Thank you for a perfectly pleasant stay...

The hotel was placed in the very central location next to a church. I had coffee at Chocolate de Palo, located within 5 minutes walk.

The room was cozy and clean, but the noisy boiler made it hard to sleep.

The location is amazing and particularly good and just off nice bars and restaurants, the center square, and Cuenca. It's neat and fashionable with clean bathrooms👍

We loved the vibrant atmosphere and cute staff. The hotel's location is fantastic, situated near the river yet so quiet. The breakfast was a highlight too, generous portions that fueled us for our daily explorations!
